Some productions have the crew but need the gear. DuneVision rents production equipment from its working inventory, the same hardware used on DuneVision's own broadcasts, to qualified productions and organizations.
Athletes Unlimited has used DuneVision equipment for its tournament operations in the region. Valparaiso University's athletic department has worked with DuneVision on equipment support for ESPN+ broadcasts from the Athletics-Recreation Center. Equipment is configured and tested before delivery, and a DuneVision operator is available to support the production if needed.

Live sports production runs on data. Speed readings, statistics, and real-time performance metrics all need to get from source systems into the broadcast graphics pipeline cleanly and on time. The problem is that radar guns were not designed for sports that do not traditionally use them in broadcast. There is no off-the-shelf integration. When a league decides to add that data layer to a production, someone has to build it.
Athletes Unlimited broadcasts sports that do not traditionally use radar guns in production, including lacrosse. The league wanted real-time speed data available as a live broadcast stat, which meant getting accurate readings from multiple radar guns deployed around the field into a single, clean serial feed for use in statistics and on-screen graphics via Xpression.
DuneVision developed a custom system that reads the output from multiple radar guns simultaneously, identifies the correct reading from the relevant gun for each play, and routes that value into a unified serial feed. The cleaned data feeds directly into the stats pipeline and Xpression for live display during broadcast. The system eliminates manual data entry, resolves the multi-gun ambiguity problem, and runs in real time throughout the show.
