Savannah Bananas – ESPN Broadcast Support at Wrigley Field & Busch Stadium

DuneVision provided broadcast production personnel in support of the Banana Ball World Tour during major nationally televised stops at Wrigley Field in Chicago and Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

Working as part of the larger television production team, DuneVision technicians supported multiple days of live production for Savannah Bananas games broadcast nationally across ESPN platforms.

The Production

The Banana Ball World Tour brings a unique combination of live sports, entertainment, and large-scale stadium production to some of the most recognizable venues in the country.

At Wrigley Field, DuneVision crew members supported four days of production surrounding a sold-out run of Savannah Bananas games, with crowds of approximately 42,000 fans filling the stadium.

The team later traveled to Busch Stadium in St. Louis for another multi-day production supporting the tour, including a nationally televised ESPN2 broadcast.

These productions required experienced technicians capable of stepping into a large broadcast operation, integrating with an established national crew, and maintaining the pace and reliability expected of a major live sports telecast.

DuneVision’s Role

DuneVision supplied professional broadcast technicians to support the television production throughout the events.

Our crew worked alongside the broader production team to help execute the technical and operational requirements of the broadcasts, contributing to a production environment involving major-league stadium infrastructure, national television distribution, large onsite audiences, and the fast-moving format of Banana Ball.

For DuneVision, these events represented another opportunity to provide dependable production personnel for high-profile live sports broadcasts while working within established national broadcast workflows.

The Result

Across Wrigley Field and Busch Stadium, DuneVision personnel helped support successful multi-day productions reaching both tens of thousands of fans in the venues and national audiences watching through ESPN.

The projects demonstrated DuneVision’s ability to provide experienced broadcast professionals for large-scale sports productions, whether a client needs individual technicians, supplemental crew, technical support, or a larger production package.

From regional events to national television broadcasts, DuneVision brings the same priority to every production: experienced people, dependable execution, and a crew that understands live television.
