On March 14, 2026, the Indoor Football League opened its season in front of a sold-out crowd at the Fishers Event Center. The Freight beat the Quad City Steamwheelers 45-27, and the broadcast made a little history along the way. It was the first live IFL game ever carried on Yahoo Sports Network.
DuneVision produced it.
The Assignment
This season, Tourbeau Sports Group brought DuneVision on to produce the IFL’s regional broadcasts in four markets: Fishers, Des Moines, the Quad Cities, and Green Bay. We also provided crew for shows in other markets across the country.
Every game we produced fed a national platform. Yahoo Sports Network carried 64 IFL games this season on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Prime Video, and the other major streaming services. Overnght, the league’s subscription partner, carried the rest. Our job was simple to state and hard to do: make indoor football look like network television, week after week, in four different buildings.

How We Ran It
Many of our shows ran on the DuneBox, our portable multi-camera production unit. That usually meant a full set, show, and strike in a single day. Load in that morning, on air that night, out the door before the arena lights went cold.
On other shows, we provided the crew and ran Tourbeau’s own equipment. Their gear, our operators, the same broadcast either way. And when one show called for more firepower, we brought in a production truck and scaled up. The fan at home never saw a seam.
That flexibility is the point. Tourbeau runs a serious operation, and they trusted us with four of their markets. Whether the show was on our kit or theirs, our job was to make our client look good on a national platform every week.

Four Venues, One Standard
Producing in four arenas is its own discipline. Every building has its own power, its own quirks. Our answer was to get ahead of it. We communicated early and often with venue staff and league production, so most problems were solved before the first case rolled off the truck.
And when something did surface on-site, our engineers ran it down and fixed it. That’s the difference between a production company and a broadcast operation. We’re the latter.

Building the Indoor Football Look
Indoor football is fast, physical, and close. The wall is the sideline, and a player chasing a ball toward the boards doesn’t step out of bounds. He goes over them, into somebody’s lap. Our camera plan evolved all season to serve that. The wireless field camera, a staple of IFL coverage, became the signature of our shows. Our operators got creative with it, and that field-level shot turned into the best seat in the house.

454,134 Viewers Out of Fishers
2026 was the biggest broadcast season in IFL history, and the biggest night of it came out of one of our buildings. On May 16, the Jacksonville Sharks at Fishers Freight broadcast drew 454,134 viewers on Yahoo Sports Network. Per the league, that’s the most-watched IFL broadcast in Yahoo Sports Network history — more than double the previous record.
The league’s audience record fell four times this season. Our markets put shows into that national lineup every week, and the crew treated each one like a network broadcast, because it was one.

What’s Next
A season like this puts a crew to the test. Ours got sharper at every position on the headset, and we’re carrying that into next season and whatever comes with it.
If your league, association, or event needs livestream production that holds up on a national platform, we should talk. DuneVision is the Region’s live video production company. Founded by television industry professionals, we bring big city production to the Region and beyond.
